Sheena and I went to Las Vegas for a wee holiday over the Christmas / New Year 2011/12 and didn't want to hang around the strip all day so I called up two very nice friends of ours ( Dot "n" John ) and asked them to do the bizz for us and get us a Harley to ride while on holiday, low and behold when we got to Vegas and as instructed we went direct to Eagle Riders to pick up a brand new 2012 Electra glide Wor lass was owwa the moon when she seen it, hey thats a hellish bit "o" kit thooz got there hinney " she says. so straight away I knew I was gaining some brownie points and this holiday was gonna be a success. we went to some fantastic places with the help of our new found friend Mr Greg Taylor ( executive Chef at the Treasure island Hotel ) he took us to some places I've never heard of before we had a great time. however we did miss the Poker Run the following Saturday.
I would like to give a massive thanks to greg
What I'm saying is if anyone wants to hire a bike be it in Vegas or anywhere else see Dot " n" John first they provided a fantastic service for us and they are both good eggs.
I would have no hesitation in booking through Dot "n" John again
A MASSIVE THANKS TO YOU BOTH
Your turn for the beers ha ha ha
Regards

Hi Guys...
Our trip to the US was fantastic. Took in some great sites.... Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Yosemite, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Each place different and amazing in it's own right.
We were glad we organised our own trip this time. It gave us so much flexibility to do what we wanted to do and spend as much time in each place as we thought appropriate.
EagleRider folks on the ground were great. They gave me the bits I needed to fit my own Garmin SatNav... and despite earlier suggestions they were going to charge me for a Ram Ball, they just through it in with the initial cost. They even gave me some discount on the insurance as my cousin who took us down to the "shop" had a AAA card with him!. We hired a BMW1200GS. When we got to the "shop" we noticed folks riding out on some new models and my hopes were we would get something similar. However, I was a little disappointed to be given a 4 year old model with 60,000 on it. It looked a bit "beat up" too... the panniers were well bashed in and there was quite a bit of "drop damage" to the engine casing. Looked a bit "tired" if I was to be honest. I had the feeling the best bikes were going to the "locals" but I may be wrong. All in the all however, the bike was a BMW after all and as expected it's strong heart and lungs did not miss a beat so I was overall satisfied.
We did 2300 miles in all... no problems or incidents to speak off...
Thanks for taking the booking for us.... all worked out well and we were very
satisfied.
Cheers

EagleRider Wild West Tour Sept 2011
I had a fantastic time, it was the best holiday I've ever had! The riding was amazing, and the weather was really good untill we left Monterey, it was cloudy and cool all the way down the big sur and even in LA! The highlight for me was San Fransisco, it is a beautiful city and the ride from Yosemite was brilliant aswell, I was pleased we had a free day there. We toured the city on our bikes and it was an experience to ride on Lombard street, we were so lucky with the weather there, and had excellent views of the Golden Gate bridge, Alkatraz and the city. The hotels were really nice, the only one that was disapointing was in LA, (the Crowne Plaza). The hotel itself was very good but the location let it down, fine if you are there only the final night of the tour, but as I had an extra night there I found it too far away from everything.
My only regret was not doing the 16 day tour, unfourtunayly I could not get the time off work. There was a wide varitey of nationalities, but everyone got on well together and I have made some lasting friends. I am now saving to go again in 2013, and will be doing the rockies tour!
Thank you so much, you have alwayys been helpful and friendly, and any queries I've had you have answered.
Thanks again, and no doubt I will see you both at the bike show!

We've just returned from a 16 day ride on Route 66! I had a Road King and Barbara had a Fatboy Low that we picked up from Chicago and dropped off in LA. It was just an amazing experience! 2600 miles of adventure - we stayed in the Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, painted our names on a Cadillac at the Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo, ate at the Cozy Dog and rode Sitgreaves Pass in 100 degree heat. Thanks to Hadrian V-Twin for help in putting this trip together. Get Hip to this Kindly Tip: Take that California trip; get your kicks on Route 66!

Hired an electragilde through Dot and John, for a quick flit round California and the Pacific coast highway. No over complicated insurance jargon, turned up at Eagle riders, for a smooth, no hassle pick up, of a well maintained bike for the trip. Returned it a little bit dirtier 10 days later.
Thanks also for the advice on where to go and what to see.
Excellent service.

hese days of dealing with companies that are generally down right
ncompetant to come across a company that is obviously passionate
bout what they do and pay maticulous attention to detail, thus
esulting in an awesome experiance. Regards Peter

We all had a great time, everything went really well, highlights were Hoover Dam, Route 66 from Kingman to Williams, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Mexican Hat, Halls Crossing on Lake Mead, Natural Bridges National Monument, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP and the back road from St George to Mesquite. Fantastic scenery, so diverse it was unbelievable. We have all come back with some great memories and photos (see photo attached)
All the bikes were great and what we asked for, no reliability problems, even got to drive through the front entrance of the Bellagio for a photo stop with our better halves.
Weather was very hot down low although the wind and sandstorms were very heavy, and the weather was freezing cold as we were above the snow line on Boulder Peak and Bryce Canyon…. Should have known better.
We all rode safe and had an absolutely fantastic time and am now planning the next trip, may take a couple of years though as we have all run out of money!
All in all everybody had a great time so thanks for your help.
Kind regards
Simon
