“I had not ridden a bike for about twenty years especially not one as big and heavy as a Harley. I passed my test in 1979 on a Suzuki GT.
When i arrived at the house, John and Dot put me at ease and i was given the Road King to ride.
After some safety preliminaries from John, we were off and what a buzz. From the first minute to the last seconds, it was just one big thrill. John kept me right throughout the ride with riding tips and road craft, and it was not long before I was feeling confident.
I can safely say it was the best £80 (plus petrol) that i have ever spent and i am looking forward to my two day hire in May when my wife and i will be touring the country on a Heritage.
