A 13 day fully guided tour through ten countries to HOG’s Annual European Rally, touring on scenic routes and through mountain passes. Including ferry crossings, superior, lakeside self-catering rally site accommodation, support vehicle, and traditional hotels with breakfast & evening meals*
Day 1 15.45 Our adventure begins at the North Shields ferry terminal, near Newcastle Upon Tyne. After boarding, get settled into your cabin, explore the boat & it’s facilities, & meet us later for a welcome meal in the restaurant. Later you can enjoy the on-board entertainment, have a drink in one of the bars, or maybe a little flutter in the casino.
Day 2 After breakfast on the boat, we arrive in Ijmuiden at 09.30. We’ll be riding through Holland today, the land of tulip fields, canals, & windmills. We’ll include a visit to Monschau, one of the oldest & picturesque cities in Germany, then on towards Luxembourg to stay the night. 208 miles
Day 3 Today we will ride through Strasburg, then on to the Black Forest with it’s stunning views & fabulous biking roads. Enjoy the pool & sauna at tonight’s hotel, where their speciality is of course, the famous Blackforest Gateaux! 254 miles
Day 4 Germany to Austria. Pass through the principality of Liechtenstein. This is where the hills begin to grow into the mountains of the Alps, & we will sample the hospitality in a typical Austrian hotel. 180 miles
Day 5 We set off to Lake Garda today, riding sweeping mountain roads with the songs of Julie Andrews forever in our minds! Our accommodation for the next four nights is in fully air-conditioned elite mobile homes, situated on the lakeside, and within easy reach of all the excitement and entertainment that the rally has to offer! 207 miles
Day 6 Free day. Go & get your rally pack, & see what delights Harley-Davidson have in store for us! There’s so much to see & do here, the only problem you’ll have is fitting everything in! There’s custom bike shows, stunt shows, trade stands, music & bands & all things motorcycle related – you name it, you’ll find it here!
Day 7 Free day. We will be taking an optional ride-out to Venice & perhaps Slovenia today, join us if you’d like to explore a little further!
Day 8 Free day.
Day 9 Rally over, but the fun continues! We’ll be riding over the Stelvio Pass today, on one of Top Gear’s favourite biking roads ever! Be sure to buy a memento & take a photo at the top, just to prove you actually ‘Rode that Road’! 210 miles
Day 10 Leaving Austria today, we ride around the Swiss side of Lake Bodensee, then back into Germany & the biker’s paradise that is the Black Forest, riding through both dense woodland and open countryside. 194 miles
Day 11 Today we cross into France, Belgium & the tiny Principality of Luxembourg

Day 12 Return to Holland, & back through Amsterdam to catch our ferry, where we’ll meet up for our final evening meal in the restaurant 208 miles
Day 13 After breakfast, say fond farewells, disembark & start planning next year’s trip!
