Cool bikes, cool music, & some of the best motorcycling roads in the southern USA combine on this 14-day fully supported southern thunder tour, including 318 curves in the 11 mile long Tail of the Dragon – slay it if you dare!

| Day 1: Arrive at the Heartbreak Hotel, Memphis, Tennessee. Relax after your flight, & your guides will meet you for a welcome breakfast in the morning. | ![]() |
Day 2: It’s Now or Never – your adventure begins! After breakfast, we’re heading off for a tour of Gracelands, the beautiful home & final resting place Elvis Presley. Later this afternoon, we’ll transfer to Eaglerider to collect our motorcycles ready for an early start tomorrow. But don’t let anyone ask Are You Lonesome Tonight? If you love the blues, check out Beale Street this evening, where there’s always something going on. |

Day 3: Now the tour begins in earnest. Give Me a Home Where The Buffalo Roam – it’s right here, on our ride from Memphis to Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in Kentucky, where you just might see these majestic beasts in their own environment! We will be travelling the area between Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley, from which the name derives. 200 miles |

Day 4: Today it’s Good Vibrations all the way as we ride through south-western Kentucky by way of Bowling Green, a well-known location for sports car enthusiasts, & the home of the National Corvette Museum. Experience firsthand the passion & excitement of America’s Sports Car, the Chevrolet Corvette. Our route now takes us on to Mammoth Cave National Park, the longest recorded cave system in the world with over 360 miles explored & mapped. Explore some of these caves, or ride the scenic roads surrounding the pristine waters. 140 miles |

Day 5: From Mammoth Caves we ride through the Kentucky Mountains & on to Mount Vernon, home of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. Overnight in Renfro Valley. 130 miles |

Day 6: It’s not Blue Hawaii but rather Norris Dam, which will take your breath away as we ride this scenic route. Following the tranquil Norris Freeway to the now well known ‘Secret City’ of Oak Ridge, we’re heading to Knoxville for the night. 190 miles |

Day 7: Exchange your Blue Suede Shoes for riding boots today, as we’re off to ride the Tail of Dragon, with it’s spectacular twists, turns & switchbacks. We’re heading for Pigeon Forge, for a two night stopover. 150 miles |

| Day 8: You just Can’t Help Falling in Love with Pigeon Forge, there’s so much to see & do here. There’s fabulous food & shopping, with the sounds of gospel, bluegrass & country music everywhere. Or perhaps you’d prefer to ride the twisty, climbing roads of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or call in to Dollywood, the theme park owned by Dolly Parton on her home ground. | ![]() |
Day 9: Ease your Suspicious Minds, as our day unfolds into the timeless beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Entering the range from the Tennessee side, we exit into North Carolina & into the sights & sounds of the Cherokee Indian Reservation on our way down to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Look out for the famous Choo Choo as we head into Chattanooga for the evening! 220miles |

Day 10: There’s Whiskey in the Jar-o aplenty as we ride to Lynchburg, Tennessee, for a visit to the famous Jack Daniel’s distillery! Lynchburg is a dry county, so we’ll have to wait until we arrive in Nashville this evening & park the bikes up for the night before tasting our souvenirs of Mr Jack’s Sippin’ Whiskey! 168 miles |

Day 11: Today is yours to see the sights & hear the sounds of Nashville, world famous Country Music Capital. |

Day 12: Leaving Nashville, we follow the historic Natchez Trace Parkway. This stunningly beautiful route follows the old hunter’s trail over the hills from the Mississippi River to the Tennessee River Valley. We’ll spend just One Night in Tupelo. 135 miles |

Day 13: We can’t leave Tupelo without a visit to the birthplace of Elvis, King of Rock. Then we head back to Memphis to reluctantly return our bikes, & enjoy a last evening on lively Beale Street. 260 miles |

Day 14: Check out of the Heartbreak Hotel, & depart for Memphis International Airport. |

Deposit of £1000 per bike secures your place. Balance due 12 weeks before departure.
