Important

Visitors to the USA are required to complete an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) prior to their visit. Please make your on-line application as soon as possible at: http://www.cbp.gov/esta. A small charge is payable.

Security Deposit

EagleRider require a Credit Card Authorization on pick-up, against the safe & undamaged return of the motorcycle. The amount varies, depending upon which insurance option is taken. Please see below.

No Damage Waiver Purchased

Basic insurance is included with the bike & cover is up to state limits, with no Theft/Damage cover. Renter pays full value of any damage, or full replacement cost if stolen. No flat tyre cover, so if you get a flat, you must pay for recovery / repair / replacement. In the event of mechanical breakdown where repairs will take 12 hours or more, (which is rare, as all bikes are late model & well maintained), then you get a refund for any days not used on the bike. Security deposit (which they authorise on your credit card, but do not take if the bike is returned without any damage), is $1000.

VIP Theft & Damage Waiver

$18 per day. With this option you are responsible for the first $2000 of any claim for theft or damage. If mechanical breakdown occurs resulting in repairs taking more than 12 hours, you would receive a refund of daily rental rate, plus an extra $35 per day. No flat tyre cover, Security deposit reduced to $500.

Enhanced VIP Theft & Damage Waiver

$24 per day. Liable for up to $1000 of any theft/damage claim. If mechanical breakdown with a 12 hour repair time occurs, you get a refund of daily rental rate plus $75 per day. Flat tyre coverage for repairs & labour, but not recovery if you need it. Security deposit reduced to $300.

EVIP-ZERO Theft & Damage Waiver

$29 per day, available at participating locations for rentals of 3 days or more. No excess for damage, but liable for up to $1000 in the event of any theft. If mechanical breakdown with a 12 hour repair time occurs, you get a refund of daily rental rate plus $100 per day. Flat tyre coverage for repairs & labour, & up to $100 for recovery if you need it. Security deposit reduced to $100.

OPTIONAL INSURANCE:

Supplemental Liability Insurance

$24.95 per day. Protects renter against claims by a third party for bodily injury/property damage as a result of an accident. Limit up to $1,000,000

Peak Season Surcharge

There is a surcharge of $10/day + tax for the rental of Elite Models – Electra Glide, Honda Goldwing, BMW – during August & September.

We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance from when you book your trip, & check that motorcycle riding is permitted.
